End of 2025-26 Season Announcement

Chiba Jets Funabashi announced the end of the 2025-26 season with comments from club representative Tamura Seiya and General Manager Ikuchi Yuta.

We appreciate the warm support we received from our fans throughout the season. We were able to fight together until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Season Performance

This season, we finished with a record of 42 wins and 18 losses, ranking 2nd in the Eastern Conference, and reached the semifinals in the B.League Championship 2025-26 and the quarterfinals in the Emperor's Cup.

We started the season with a record 10 consecutive wins, achieving a strong start as a team.

Home Game Performance

In our home games, we achieved the highest annual attendance in club history, with 302,798 fans and an average of 10,093 fans per game, and many fans came to support us at every game.

Championship Performance

What I remember most about this season is that we were able to host the championship at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY for the first time. The scenery of fighting together with our boosters in the quarterfinals, surrounded by a deafening cheer, is a great asset for this club.

Gratitude

And most of all, we appreciate the unwavering support of our boosters, partners, and local fans. The space and cheers created by our fans at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY, and the ''GO JETS'' chants that echoed throughout the away games, were a great encouragement to our players.

Outlook for the 2026-27 Season

The 2026-27 season will see the start of the ''B.League Premier''. The league format will change, and the competition will become even fiercer. This will undoubtedly be a challenging season for Chiba Jets Funabashi.

Team's Determination

However, I believe that this change is an opportunity for our club to grow even stronger. We will not waste the disappointment of the past two seasons. We will accept this change and work to create a strong team, aiming to become the first champion of the B.League Premier in the 2026-27 season. We will continue to challenge ourselves, staying true to the spirit of Chiba Jets Funabashi. And from Chiba Prefecture, Funabashi City, and LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY, we will create a new history together with our fans.
